Q: Why did you decide to start blogging?
A: Like most other bloggers, blogging is my creative outlet. It's a way for me to perfect my craft, share my thoughts, [faux]tography, videos and overall document my life. Lord's willing I'll inspire some along the way.
Q: Who inspires you?
A: Jesus inspires me daily. I'm also inspired by others including my mom, grandmother, sister [who I often refer to as sissy], my dear friend/sister/mentor Shelita Lee and other women [and men] that are passionate about utilizing their gifts and talents for the greater good of society.
Q: What will you be blogging about?
A: 92% of the time I beat a mean head of kinks and curls, but this is not, and I REPEAT this is not a natural hair blog.
Q: What do you hope to gain from blogging?
A: A J-O-B! No, I'm kidding or am I?! [insert chuckle] Not to sound cliche' but, I simply want to inspire others to do whatever it is they've dreamt about doing. Recently I've learned that no one wants to take a chance on someone who has no experience. If no one is offering you a paid position, CREATE YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE. If you're passionate about what you do and you're good at it, sooner than later the right one will notice. Remember to exersise the 5 Ps: Prayer, passion, productivity, persistence, and great presentation and you can't go wrong.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
A: In five years I'll be exceeding the world's expectations as a woman and a brown woman at that [hmph]. That statement is pretty vague, but it speaks volumes. Stay tuned to find out more ;).
